1. Pomegranate Seed oil is a powerful nutriceutical.Research has shown it has the very rare ability to heal and prevent skin cancer when applied topically to the skin. It is the Punicic acid a very powerful antioxidant which is found to be anywhere from between 50%- 65% in cold pressed unrefined Pomegranate seed oil that has been found by research scientists to benefit the skin.
2. The name ‘Punicic’ is derived from the  botanical name for Pomegranate, Punica granatum. Pucinic acid is a very  rare conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). We know of only about 28 of these  isomers of linoleic acid, most are from animal sources. Rare plant sources include mushrooms and pomegranate seeds.
4. Many studies have been done now on this  extraordinary seed oil. Studies by the Universities of Michigan, South  Dakota, Houston and Saga. 5. Pomegranate Seed Oil is  anti-inflammatory. When used topically as well as when taken as a supplement,  this is by its very high EFA (essential fatty acids) composition, and  against a specific Interleukin that is a Pro-inflammatory protein that  plays a part in the degradation of cartilage.
