How to heal stubborn sore areas of skin

I have decided to put this up because this week I have met 2 people with sore patches of skin that won't heal & as a homeopath & a formulator of organic skincare i know a thing or two about skin so here it is.

It is useful to know that the skin on your face likes to have a PH of around 5.5, if you cleanse twice a day with a clanser that is more than this, maybe around 7 & if you don't rinse properly it can effect the PH of your skin, this leaves your skin open to localised skin infections  perhapes caused by a staphylococcus bug and then we can reinfect the area when we touch it.

It is important to remember that areas of skin soreness, reddness etc can be caused by other problems so it is worth a visit to your GP if nothing helps and it perists for a few weeks.

1. Buy a cleanser that advertises that it has a PH of 5.5

2. Only cleanse using a cleanser once a day

3. Buy some Vitamin C powder from a health food shop

4 once a day, make up a small solution of 10% Vitamin C. Don't be tempted to make it stronger than 10%. Vitamin C oxidises quickly in water & air so once you have bathed the area throw the water away and start afresh next day.

5. After bathing the area & while the area is still a little damp, apply a rich nutritious oil to your skin, if you have very sensitive skin, make sure it is unscented. I recommend our Raspberry & Pomegranate Antioxidant Face Oil, it is available unscented and contains 3 organic seed oils & 8 organic CO2 herbal & botanical extracts.

Organic Raspberry seed oil has powerfull antioxidant properties, it has an SPF of between 28 & 50, it is also a potent source of Ellagic acid known to protect & help heal skin.

Organic Pomegranate seed oil has powerfull antioxidant properties & has been shown to protect against & heal certain skin cancers!! It is a very potent source of Punicic acid & also contains Ellagic acid. These antioxidants are well worth googling because it is useful information & there is a growing body of scientific research on these seed oils.

Organic Rosehip seed oil needs no introduction. It is a potent source of Retinoic acid, a precurser to Vitamin A which is also very well known to protect & help heal skin.

For added therapeautic enrichment we have also added 8 organic CO2 extracts of Calendula, known to be antiseptic & reduce inflammation, Chamomile also known to clam the skin & reduce inflammation, Carrot, Amaranth, Seabuckthorn, Rosemary, Rosehip & Pomegranate. These are powerful antioxidants packed with vitamins to feed your skin.

Our Raspberry & Pomegranate Antioxidant Face Oil will be available very soon from www.naturalwisdom.co.uk

Thank you for reading & best wishes for your beauty & health
